WEEK 3 - 28/07/11 - WONDER

"I wonder if I've been changed in the night? Let me think. Was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different.
But if I'm not the same, the next question is 'Who in the world am I?' Ah, that's the great puzzle!"
— Lewis Carrol (Alice's adventures in Wonderland)
-    LORENA    -
I think the caterpillar felt that way the day she got up and realized she had wings, and all what she knew about crawling wouldn't be useful anymore.
It must have taken a while to recognize herself, everything seemed sudden, but by tallying the facts she could understand how she could be the same and so different at the same time.
More pictures of the design process here.

this week made me think about something which is still the same but in a different way. i thought about paper, and how folding it adds something to the existing state it is in. you can not undo a fold in paper, but it is still a piece of paper, only different.
