- LORENA - I had a hard time this week, I couldn't take this phrase too deeply because ants are the insects I dislike the most, so I just managed to imagine that in rainy days they gather in the "air bags" inside the anthill eating all the sugar they had collected, having a great time, without the queen ant complaining or ordering things... that's why they get so hyperactive when it's about to rain, they're anxious for it to come! More pics of the process here. | - DAPHNE - what do they do? the only thing i can think of is that they'll wait till the rain is over. which is maybe not such a boring thing to do, cause i think most of their live exists of repetition anyway, doing the same thing over and over again. gathering food, eating food, making babies, gathering some more food, eating some more... so my earring of this week shows the repetition, the same shape over and over again. |
