- LORENA MARTINEZ-NEUSTADT -  lorena, is an industrial designer born in mexico around the 80's, after completing her major studies in 2005 she worked as a jewelry designer, in 2008 she moved to argentina and studied metalsmith, where her love for jewelry became her biggest passion, the ideal medium for blending art, functionality, and her obsession for meticulous things. in 2010 she founded, gemagenta, where she displays her handcrafted jewelry and illustrations, going from neat geometry to nature inspired, her muse and style flows freely according to the story she wants to tell. currently living in amsterdam, lorena continues exploring the millenary art of jewelry making. SHOP BLOG info.gemagenta{at}gmail.com | - DAPHNE VAN DER MEULEN - daphne, a dutch born native, successfully completed her studies in interior architecture at the royal academy of art in the hague, the netherlands in 2003. after she moved to new york city in 2004 to work in the architecture field. she felt she missed something and starting to focus her efforts on the design of jewelry. in her designs, daphne is particularly driven towards minimalism. she is inspired by clean architecture on the one hand and spring colored leafs on the other hand. in 2005 she founded studio mezereem exploring the boundaries of the minimal and the textured objects. daphne is currently living and working in amsterdam, the netherlands WEBSITE BLOG |
